I have managed to install it, going back to 15.3 after I installed the 16 and it has returned to give the error I have given to cancel and it has been installed, I have done the same with the 16.1

He conseguido instalarlo, volviendo a la 15.3 despues he instalado la 16 y ha vuelto a dar el error he dado a cancelar y se ha instalado, he hecho lo mismo con la 16.1

FWIW, I've had exactly this issue from time to time, not just 16.1 but also with some earlier versions; tends to vary from computer to computer, ie, laptop vs workstation. This also seemed irrespective of clean install or update; also noticed that what should have been in a clean install (ie, with the prior version 'deep' uninstalled) that Resolve Panels were still present in the Program Files x86 dir.

In any case, the consistent fix for me seems to be to log in under administrator account & the install works without those annoying 'can't find .msi' messages.

Running into this problem now. I can't update one of my machines even with admin rights. Any other solutions?
