Resolve 16 Reference Manual Issue date

PostThu Aug 15, 2019 2:17 pm

The Reference Manual supplyed with the 16.1.0b.017 software via Help is dated July 2019.
The latest Resolve 16 Reference manual on the support page is dated August 2019.
Perhaps the latest software should include the latest manual.

Can we have a sticky thread for manual-related issues? I just found that on Page 165, the RED Camera RAW settings are written as if we only have Original or Version 2 subsets, but when IPP2 is selected, the manual's description of the settings is not accurate. The manual should be updated to describe the IPP2 settings (and perhaps why we still have Brightness but not Shadow from Original/Version 2, and why we don't have Saturation nor FLUT but do have Exposure).

Not a burning issue, but some of the chapter references refer to the wrong number. If you're authoring this in MS Word, I think there's a way to have that automatically update.
