Force rendering on the timeline

PostTue Jan 28, 2020 4:23 am

I have a clip on the Resolve timeline and I put a sapphire plug-in on it and then I tell it to “render” which I guess in resolve is called cashe... Red line turns blue, but then nothing happens. The clip will still not play.
Looking forward to one day leaving premier and using Resolve. But this is a major dealbreaker. I keep reading tutorials that says you can force render on the timeline, but I’ve tried everything imaginable and it does not work. Perhaps in Resolve 17.
I will be at NAB… Hoping Resolve Will be fixing all these things.

As I explained previously, that sounds like a bug, and should be reported as such(with appropriate technical info) to both BM and Boris FX. It's doesn't really fall into the category of "feature request" - unless you think fixing bugs is a new feature? :)

That may be related to your Cache settings. I'm not sure we need another Feature to solve that.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
