Not so much a feature request than a fix request, really.
As a DIT I create a lot of stills and a lot of stills folders. When you create a new stills folder in Resolve, the title becomes inactive immediately, which is contrary to the usual UI convention that after creation of a new folder, the new name is highlighted, so one can immediately type the new name, because “Stills 1”, “Stills 2”, etc. is rarely good enough. This is only the case with stills folders, media page folders (bins) for example behave like Finder folders in that they immediately expect to be renamed.
I know it’s just a tiny thing, but what happens a hundred times a day is that I create a new folder and Immediately start typing the name of the folder, and every keystroke invokes one or another shortcut and messes up my project. It happened more than once that I didn’t notice all the changes I had made and for example applied presets to clips inadvertently.
Am I the only one? How many of you have cursed over this?
