Laptop HDR Monitoring

PostFri Apr 19, 2024 11:53 am

I couldn't find any instructions of how can we use the new function "Laptop
HDR Monitoring" in version 19. I've tried but it doesn't seems to work on my Mac. Any tips?

"Laptop HDR Monitoring" has been present for years, and is not new to v19. For example, here's a snapshot from March of the webpage advertising it https://web.archive.org/web/20240329121 ... e/whatsnew

Can it be tone mapped to a monitor with less brightness like a MacBook Air, as FCP X does?

Following the instructions of the link, the option “display HDR on viewers if available” does not appear for me.

HDR grading on a non-HDR monitor is completely useless.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
