Project says 'edited' directly after manual save

The subject says it all:

When I do a manual save in the File--> Save Project or with the CTRL+S shortcut, the project saves and less than a second later it say 'edited' in the header. Even though I haven't changed anything.

When the word 'edited' is grey, it means that it is saved via live save or manually. When it is red, I believe it means there are changes not yet saved.
I see it up there most of the time.

But if I don't change anything the word edited shouldn't be there at all. And in previous versions it wasn't.

I see a grey 'edited' even after just zooming in to the timeline.
It doesn't really matter...though where it might matter is if you always see it in red.
