I got a pre-sales question regarding to Blackmagic Design ATEM Production Studio 4K Live Switcher. Let's say i got 4 different camera which can record up to 4K video quality, and i send all the video via 12g-SDI. The problem that i wanted to ask is : 1. What if 2 camera shooting at 1080p60 and another 2 camera shooting at 4k24p 2. The output quantity can be set or it will follow the format from the input.
The cameras all have to be running in the same format. The output format will be the same, except when using a downscaled HD output on a switcher running in a 4K format.

Atems mixers do not follow the input signal format. You will have to set it manually. Also keep in mind that only matching format will be seen by Atem mixer.
The Atem TVS HD Pro 4k model has scalers on each of its inputs, converting differing resolutions etc. to one project resolution set in its config. so it could do this, but. it's the only Atem model currently which can do this.

We have the switcher you mentioned (BMD Production Studio 4K) as well as the TVS HD Pro 4K, and this is the only Blackmagic switcher that can handle inputs with different resolutions and scale them to match, https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/ ... o_pro.html.

Hi, this is not the switcher that i was mentioned. May i know the one i mentioned have the same function?
Been away for a day or two so late back to the party.
No the switcher ur referencing doesn't have the added scalers. So you'll need run with external scalers needing one for each feed that isn't set to the Atem's project Res/frame rate.
