BSOD with BMI Shuttle 3.0

PostMon Jul 15, 2013 3:02 pm

Hey there,

A few months back I purchased the MSI GE620 along with the BMI Shuttle 3.0 for streaming purposes.
I have yet to get this setup to work without some sort of BSOD error. After weeks of testing, it appears that the computer only crashes while sitting in FMLE 3.2 If I am streaming or encoding in FMLE, I have no problems other than the fact that it can't encode sound for some reason. If I stop the stream and leave FMLE open it blue screens. I have made sure countless times that all my drivers were up to date(Renesas 3.0, Intel, NViDia etc..) I purchased this laptop specifically because it was listed to be compatible with the BMI Shuttle. (Win 7 x64, i7, 8gb ram)

The dump log shows that ntoskrnl.exe (0x75BD0) and blackmagicusbio.sys have caused the crash. I have tried a few different BM drivers from the website, as well as memtest and sfc checks.

Has anyone encountered this with their BMI or know where I can go from here?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Did you try rolling back to an earlier driver like 9.6.8?

I have tried everything from 9.7.5 to 9.6.6 with all of the same results.

It seems as if the BSOD errors point to a different driver every time, whether it be my intel graphics, atheros wifi card, etc. I have made sure all of these drivers are up to date as well. It's weird that it only crashes in FMLE 3.2 and not blackmagic express. If I can't figure anything out in the next few days I will be returning it and looking for a new streaming solution.

I actually had a problem with ntoskrnl.exe and BSOD but with an Intensity Pro and using AmarecTV.

It always happened at random when I closed the program. I think it is a "driver not cleaning up properly" issue or something.

I have tried two clean installs and get the same issue each time. Not sure what else to do
