Teranex Mini Shelf Screws

PostTue Nov 12, 2019 10:17 pm

I've got a couple of teranex mini shelves and in moving equipment around a few times have lost a few of the screws that fasten my devices into the shelf through the bottom of the shelf. Anyone know how I could get some extra screws?

The stock Teranex Mini Rack Shelf screws are M3 x 5mm flat head screws. Although I find that using slightly longer M3 screws (6mm or 7mm in length) hold a little more securely as they get a couple of extra threads into the bottom of the mounted units. If you do some searching, you should be able to find several online vendors that sell screws in this size.

In addition to using slightly longer screws, one other thing you can try to help prevent the screws from falling out in the future is to put a piece of gaffer's tape over the screws on the bottom of the rack shelf. For more permanent installations, you can use Loctite on the threads.
