Web Presenter capped at 720p30 but ATEM Mini can do 1080p60?

We just picked up an ATEM Mini to use on location for smaller set ups. I have two Web Presenters that I used with a 1 M/E based rig to do up to two broadcasts of events. I'm realizing that the Web Presenters are now essentially defunct if I want to up to 1080 broadcast spec. Which I do. Kind of frustrating that these units that costs double not too long ago have half of the available resolution for broadcast. I wish it could be updated somehow.

The Webpresenter is not able to go higher then 720P. Also this unit is on the market for 4/5 years now. And looks like it will be phased out any day now. Because the Atem mini will replace it and have much more functions available

I for one would like to see an SDI-In 4K version of the WebPresenter, as currently I have to output from my ATEM TSPro 4K mixer via an Ultrastudio 4K Mini, into 3rd-party software on a hi-spec laptop. Somewhat convoluted and expensive.

With the WebPresenter you also have to go into a 3rd party software to go live..

But i guess you mean that you want a scaled down version while the Atem is running 4K??
BTW the Webpresenter does 12G-sdi 2160P60 in to 720P compressed output..

But 720P is not really were you want to be these days..

All I'd like is the ability to live stream up to 4K with one BM box attached to the output of our ATEM 4K mixer. No laptop, no 3rd party streaming software...

BMD never have made a Direct streaming box yet.. And even chinese companies are struggeling to get 4K Streaming. Let alone almost no platform supports 4K streams.

So Wishing for it is good. But don´t hold your breath for it..
