ATEM Mini and Micro Cinema Camera

Hi,

I have currently a Micro Cinema Camera working with a blackmagic web presenter. It works great.

I bought and ATEM Mini with the idea of buying another Micro Cinema Camera. So, I can switch cameras in a live stream. I would imagine the ATEM will replace the Web Presenter.

However, when trying to use the ATEM with the Micro Cinema Camera the video signal is not stable. It either doesn't show or when it comes through is non stable (come and go randomly). Also, I was unable to push the Audio through the ATEM Mini.

I am using the same cable that the web presenter is successfully using (using a blackmagic converter from sdi to cdmi).

Is the ATEM Mini compatible to the Micro Cinema Camera? Could anyone suggest a solution to get the video stable?

Thank you

use a different or shorter cable.

Flickering is most of the times due too long cables / bad cables..

You may be running the cam at 24p and your monitor may not be able to take that or may be you didn't set your camera id.

Their is no camera ID for the Micro Cinema Camera, it can not be controlled but the ATEM either. If you are using a converter, that may be the issue. The Micro Cinema Camera has a HDMI out, not SDI. The Micro Studio Camera has the SDI output.
Cheers

Did you ever figure it out? I am having some issues as well. I have two micro cinema cameras and the atem mini. The stream is choppy and sometimes the sounds cuts off for no reason.
by the way all blackmagic cams have a cam id and you better match them up with the input you use on the atem.
No reason to use a converter I think since both the atem mini and the micro cinema camera have hdmi.
