ATEM Production studio 4K

PostTue Aug 06, 2013 2:04 am

I have tried to input apple TV via HDMI and a blue Ray DVD player via HDMI inputs and I can't get any picture from these devices? My video camera inputs a perfect signal via HDMI but I cant seem to get these 2 devices to work. Have tried changing the formay=t. From 1080i to 1080P to 720P and so on.
What am I doing wrong?
Thankyou

Have you installed the latest firmware (4.1.1) as that fixed an issue with the HDMI inputs from computers (and may perhaps be related to this issue).

However I am guessing the issue is very likely an HDCP issue (all Bluray players will definitely set the HDCP flag - and the ATEM will then not display the video).

The Apple TV will flag HDCP if the content being displayed is protected (e.g. Itunes / Netflix).

However if you are just at the menu of the Apple TV that should be passed just fine. You of course have to configure the Apple TV first using an attached monitor to the correct video standard the 4K is setup in.

updating will make no difference if it is HDCP
