USB drop-outs /PC Config/

PostThu Aug 08, 2013 1:12 pm

Hello together,
first we have a problem with the recording via USB 3 on a (BM recommended) MSI notebook (i5).
While the recording there is always drop-outs and the material is asyncron.
2nd problem:
Is it possible to record all audiochannels with the ATEM1 or more than two.
3rd: If there is no solution, it would be great to get saomne information about PC Boards and Config.
Thanks in advance,
Sven

What format is the source video?
What format are you recording in?

Drop outs are common if your source is an old VHS player/tape.
They are also common if you are recording using the default uncompressed format - as unless you have a very fast raid array/SSD's your hard drive cannot keep up with the data.

...Hi
no drop outs in this "old meaning" :-)
It is more "ansynchronus" - but it is a only SD and a fast hard drive.
