Feature Request: Capture H.264 in ATEM 1M/E

PostThu Sep 20, 2012 8:21 am

Hi,

I am using Ninja Recorder with 1 M/E for Master Recording.
Using Laptop to control 1 M/E, from the USB3 is it possible to capture H.264 for Backup Recording in Laptop. or any other third party S/W that can Detect ATEM 1M/E device and capture in Compress format?

It's a hardware issue. The TVS has a piece of hardware that handles the H.264 encoding - and that does not exist on the 1ME.

However the 1ME's program output can be captured via USB3. It's uncompressed and Media Express has limited compression options.

You can use many other software tools to capture it and compress it. FMLE / Wirecast and even VLC will see the output from the 1ME over USB3 as it presents itself as a standard Directshow video device which they all support.
