ATEM Panel Rackmount

PostFri Sep 21, 2012 12:19 am

We've been setting up a mobile production space, primarily using Blackmagic equipment. The only snag is the ATEM panel, which fits well enough between the rails of a rack, but needs to be secure during transport. I've thought about jamming foam between the panel and rack walls, but hopefully there's a better solution. Has anyone used a drawer that fits the panel? Or any suggestions on "locking" the panel into the rack for transport?

Regards,

I know it's not the answer you are looking for, but I use a Pelican case 1600 to transport mine

Those are indeed nice cases. We are using four right now for various camera gear. If it comes to that, the Pelican 1600 would do the job, plus there might be room for the various mini converters that seem to pile up!
