Atem Mini Pro-1 only 18 min recording via USB-c?

The ATEM mini pro is my first switcher, and well worth the wait!

Been looking to record to 1TB SSD from USB-c output. All works well, records perfectly.
Only surprise is that it unexpectedly stops recording after about 18 minutes.

Is there a setting in the control panel software that I missed? (Samsung 1TB disk was formatted on Mac.)

Do I need to use OBS or other software to record?

Had same issue on T7 1TB SSD drive that was recently formated last week...
Tried with T5 500GB SSD drive & T5 1TB SSD drives & no prob for 1hr or more on same day & same set up

I've ordered a 500GB T5 Samsung and it's arriving on Tuesday.

T5 works, T7 has issues, theres a lot of posts elsewhere citing the T7 has problems. Incidentally, is not on BMDs compatiblity list.

I also had issues with T7 and in another thread some complained about issues with T5. I purchased this drive upon recommendation and it works flawlessly.

The T5 came in and indeed solved this issue!

No, no real idea if it will

BMD usually test with a few drives so they can post recommendations, but that list of compatible drives never really seems to grow, based on that with other devices i think other than an initial testing they do have a couple options to advise on when a users ask for help as 'they have an issue with this/ that" gives BMD the option of replying try this instead as we know this works.

I believe the problem lies in that being a NVME drive it creates considerable heat. Once it gets too hot it starts to throttle the drive speed so that it doesn't melt

I don't think that's going to be curable in the future.
