Audio Sample Rate on ATEM Mini

PostWed Aug 12, 2020 3:58 pm

Could someone be kind enough to confirm that the ATEM Mini audio output is fixed at at 48k sample rate?

Thank you!

I'm having some sort of an audio mismatch between the ATEM and and a JTECH-ench4 encoder box:

The encoded output has intermittent clicking in the audio that is worse when the encoder's audio sample rate is set at 44.1k than at 48k.

If I connect my camera (which is outputting 48k audio) to the encoder directly I don't have any clicks.

When I pass the camera audio through the ATEM mini clicks start to appear in the encoding (but not in the HDMI output itself).

Interestingly using a different encoder box (Z3Stream) the audio sounds clear encoding output from the ATEM at either 44.1k or 48k.

Thank you for any insight on this anyone might have!

The other ATEM models use a 48 kHz sample rate (which is pretty much the standard for broadcast video), so I would expect that the ATEM Mini probably does as well.
