We have some long runs, 100ft or more between SDI-HDMI converters will for the most part will be hidden cable in drop-ceilings. I would presume something like Belden 1694A 75ohm would suffice for this.
What I really need to know is what type of cable to use for the short runs...such as the patch cables used in a rack between devices, and what type of cable you would use for a mobile camera, something rubbery that can coil and move easily.
3 types of needs, 3 types of cables.
I don't trust what I'm seeing on Amazon.
Also, I can go bulk for the long runs, and make my own cables.
Expert opinions out there?
