Control BMPCC w/ ATEM Mini Pro ISO with Field Monitor?

Can the ATEM Mini Pro ISO still retain control of my BMPCC 4K cameras if I am also using an HDMI field monitor? I tried this but I noticed that the BMPCC 4K tally light doesn't work with my TimbreCod DC-80 monitor - probably because of the HDMI connection from the monitor through the monitor and then into the ATEM Mini Pro seems to obviate this control. Please let me know if should work: or if not, is there is a workaround? Is there another monitor that does work in this setup?

I recall another thread asaying this wasn't possible. The necessary CEC protocols don't pass through things like monitors and D/A's.

You will need a direct connection between ATEM and camera.
