Recommendations on color correction for live streaming?

PostTue Oct 13, 2020 10:33 pm

I have a new BMPCC4k and an ATEM Mini that I'm using for zoom calls and such. While the picture is very high quality, the color has that desaturated RAW look that you'd expect from recording in RAW and then correcting in post. Is there a recommended practice to have the streamed image corrected to not look so flat in the scenario described above?

In the ATEM mini, under the Camera settings, I did find the Lift, Gamma and Gain setting that I can correct just a little, but wasn't sure if this was the preferred, or only method.

Actually, I figured this out on my own. I realized I was streaming in RAW - Film which of course had the flattened color space. I changed it over to Extended Video and all is good.
