Atem Software Control not recognizing Hyperdeck Studio Mini

All software is updated, New studio mini, connected by HDMI to ATEM Mini Pro, connected to same network, remote is on. Media Player/Hyperdecks, then "No Hyperdecks Connected". Oddly I am able to play a video from the Hyperdeck Studio Mini through the ATEM Mini Pro.

yes 8.5.3 for the ATEM and 7.0 for the hyperdeck

Curious on this one and watching as I was actually just shopping a Hyperdeck Mini today and couldn't find any info on being able to control it using the ATEM software, even though other Hyperdeck products can. My eyebrows were raised; I hope unnecessarily.

Have you configured the hyperdecks in the atem software control settings? It won't automatically detect them on the network and then allow control, you have to specify the IP addresses and how they're connected to the Atem.



I wouldn't worry too much about versions and such as the protocol is fairly stable and simple. It doesn't even need to be a Hyperdeck on the other end, I've got software that lets me control Caspar CG through this feature.

Thanks, that worked, overlooked the little settings icon in the bottom left. Is it your experience that DHCP works fine or did you have to assign a static IP? I'm using Apple ProRes 422 HQ format to play videos through my ATEM mini pro but finding that the Hyperdeck isn't recognizing all the videos. Any tricks surrounding getting all videos to play?

As an update, it seems that only the most recently added clip will show in the ATEM software control panel. The others are on the SD card and are functional but stop appearing as soon as a new clip is added. I tried power cycle.
