I'm sure someone else had this issue recently and it turned out to be their HDMI cable. It worked fine to their TV, but not to the BM card, when they replaced it with a decent cable the issue went away viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13701&p=86136&hilit=pink#p86136

That's a colorspace issue. Your HDMI is outputing an RGB signal and Blackmagic capture devices only support YUV signals. The SDI converter is doing the conversion for you.

I can use Decklink Studio2 card capture a normal video.
