can i use the Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio Production Switcher with the GoPro HD Hero 2 cameras in a live studio setup?

You betcha,
Just make sure resolutions match other cameras and you should have no problems. Yes its a clean feed.

Check out page 18 of the go pro manny on how to adjust resolutions.

Hi,
It doesn't work because the gopro work's in 1080P and the blackmagic ATEM work's only in 1080 I :evil: :evil: . you need to use a gefen hdmi detective + for this workflow. It's the same with the BMD HDMI to SDI converter .

If it's a short run via HDMI, it'll work fine. If you have to convert the HDMI to SDI for a longer run, you need the Geffen HDMI Detective in between the two. But regardless, yes, it'll work.
