Are Opengear converters compatible with stand alone bricks?

Question... Is it possible to combine the Opengear converters with the stand-alone bricks??? I would like to have a frame with the fiber-SDI cards and on the other end the bricks (SDI-fiber). Thanks for helpful replies!

yes as well as many other manufacturers ...

i think the bmd products tx on 1310 so any smpte compliant device that can rx on 1310 should be able to work with the cards.

i've been waiting and asking and hoping for a dual tx module similar to aja's fido2t/2r's

or a wdm model so you could use one fiber for tx and rx !!
