MXLight & MXPTiny configurations....

PostSat Nov 23, 2013 10:05 pm

Hi everyone....
I have purchased MXLight from Richard in the UK....seems like a great little program.....but WOW....I have no idea how to set it up for streaming to any CDN.
I find it very, very confusing.
FMLE and every other software/CDN I have ever used always ask for 2 bits of information....RTMP URL and Stream Name.....that never ever seems to work in MXLight.
MXLight is asking for things that I have no idea what they are....?? Application...?? for instance.

I have asked Richard to help me every time I have needed MXLight to work, and he has been fantastic in helping me when he can.....trouble is, it can sometimes take a week or more before he has a chance to get back to you......which is great that he is busy, I guess.....but somewhat frustrating when your sitting here waiting.

I wish there was a forum just for MXLight.
And yes, I have read, and re-read all the Help and FAQ files at the MXLight Website.....but I find within minutes I am glazing over....and totally lost.
I am not a Video Techno Geek.....I wish I was. I know just enough to be dangerous.

MXPTiny.....I have downloaded that and installed it too.....and it is even worse than MXLight as far as configuring.... to my eyes.
I wish there was a forum just for MXPTiny......too...:)

As an aside......I have tried 3 times to join ATEMUsers.Com forum.....but I never ever get the email from them after I sign up.....ever.
Is that site history.....??

If any one has any tips for Noobie.....normal person with a bit of knowledge.....average Joe computer guy.... about setting up either MXLight or MXPTiny......that would be amazing......and very much appreciated.

I have Flash Media Live Encoder working flawlessly on my Laptop..streaming to my CDN.......but I want my ATEM TVS and PC to work as well.....with MXLight or MXPTiny.....(I don't care which one).....but you have to be Albert Einstein to figure this stuff out.

thanx again in advance for any help or advice.
