Blackmagic 1 M/E Talking with ATEM Software Control

I can't seem to get the 1 M/E to talk to my Software Control. I know my computers IP Address. What should I make the IP Address of the ATEM 1 M/E to make it communicate with the Software control?

You have to connect the ME1 via USB with the computer and to run the setup-software. There you can confugure the 1 M/E Network settings corresponding to your PC-Network settings. Both devices have to be in the same subnet.

E.g the PC has network adress 192.168.1.239, 1 M/E schould use 192.168.1.xxx (all adresses except 0,1 and 239)

I have the subnet the same. Still nothing. Here is what I have.

Computers IP address: 192.168.1.111

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

So now when I ren the ATEM Setup what should I make my settings for that?

As Thomas said.

You will need to connect the ATEM 1ME to your computer via USB. Once that's done you will run the ATEM configuration tool. Then set the ATEM 1ME to have an IP address on the same range (i.e. 192.168.1.150). Subnet and gateway should match.

Of course you need to make sure that the IP address you choose is not already in use by another device.
