Here are a couple of suggestions
can you temporarily plug your laptop hdmi connection into your atem? this way you can set up your source (laptop) and destination and see if it works?
when you plug in the HDMI to the atem from the laptop, if you right click on your desktop you should see the atem show up as a BMD device. Usually you need to extend your desktop (this will allow for you to have a different resolution on your bmd device (atem) vs your desktop. A common mistake is trying to use clone or duplicate.
If you then select the output that you have going to the the ATEM select advanced, and display all resolutions available, and then select the 1080i 59.94 interlaced.
then you need to set up your powerpoint to display on the extended desktop
From main menu bar, choose Slide Show, then Set Up Show...
Under "Multiple Monitors", "Display slide show on:" choose ... well, I'm not
sure what it'll call it; the one that's NOT Primary Monitor. Mine says
"Monitor 2 Plug and Play Monitor".
Clear the check next to "Show Presenter View" (or try with it enabled .. you
may like the result; quite handy)
Click OK.
One thing to watch out for ... if you start this presentation on another system
that doesn't have two monitors, you may see an icon in the task bar but nothing
else. That'd be PPT playing the show on the external monitor that isn't there.
Change it back to Primary Monitor if that comes up.
This should work
