Hi!
Long story short I just got the TVS and I love it! We couldn't afford the ATEM1 so this was a great solution! We are trying to do a live video recording in class for the morning announcements and are running into some issues. We have two Canon ax10s both shooting toward a green screen. One has a desk for the "news anchors" and the other is just a green background for our weather person. I managed to get the upsteam and downstream working with the news desk camera for a lower third and virtual studio backdrop but can't find an easy way to live switch to the other camera with a different background. We were thinking a map or something. Is this a limitation due to the TVS only having one available downstream? Does anyone know of a way I can make this work if it is even possible?
Also, can multiple computers running the ATEM software control application control different aspects of the unit? For example, one computer for the switching and another computer for audio control? I'm thinking of just plugging my microphone directly into the xlr on the cameras now that the ATEM TVS allows audio over the HDMI. This would be in place of the analogue mixer we have which is a little overboard for only two microphones.
Thanks!
