USB3 compatability with the ATEM 1M/E does seem quite problematic.

It works great on my Fujuitsu Laptop... but fails on my ASUS P8Z68-PRO GEN 3 desktop (which is quite a bit faster).

Same problem with my brand new Macbook Pro - was hoping this would be compatible with recording from ATEM1 via USB3 and using Ultrascope. Can't get this to work, perhaps there is something I'm doing wrong?

Does your MAC "see" the 1ME as a valid USB device? Not sure how you can tell on a MAC (I use a PC)

Have you configured the 1ME AUX 1 output to send your program out?

Yes, AUX1 configured for prog output.

Before I got my Macbook pro I used an imac to record with an Ultrastudio 3D and thunderbolt. Media Express automatically detected this and gave me options to record.

When trying the ATEM1 to MBP via USB3, with genuine USB3 cable, Media Express defaulted to h.264 as if it was USB2.

Has anyone out there had success using a macbook pro with ATEM1 or ULTRASCOPE using USB3?

How can Media Express default to H.264, because the ATEM1 doesn't have a H.264 encoder built into it? That's odd.
