Talkback Issue

PostSun Jan 28, 2024 8:19 pm

Have studio 6k pro cameras connected via ethernet to studio converter that is connected to our 8K Constellation/ me/2 mixer.

Our director can talk to all the studio cameras (as well as tally and camera control), but the camera operators cannot talk back. That is, they hear the director (and director only), but no one else (they can't hear each other and the director can't hear them either).

Any tips to make this work?

A couple of things to check. The microphone on the camera needs to be turned on. Usually this function push to talk may be assigned to one of the function keys. In the ATEM Software make sure talkback is enabled in the Settings Talkback section. Make sure the microphone volume is turned up at the camera. I hope this helps.

Lexiconman, I am having the same issue. What did you figure out? I would hate to give up a function button on the 6k but will give it a try later today.
