Program Audio ATEM Camera Converter

I could not find any reference in the manual for the camera converter that specified if when switched to the program feed the audio is output to the headphones.

This isnt a deal breaker for me, just more of a curiosity so I can plan before mine arrive.

Basically, when you are in program mode (verses camera) can you hear the audio on the headphones from the program and is there any ducking that happens so you can hear the intercom over it?

If you got to the Support section of the the Blackmagic website and use the selectors to choose your product then you will find a manual.

I read the manual. This is a question regarding information that is not in the manual. I am hoping someone who has a few can verify for me.

Hi Jeff,

When the ATEM Camera Converter is switched to PGM the headphone audio will still be in talkback mode. The SDI output will have embedded PGM audio. Ducking the audio is a good idea and we may consider this in future development.
