In New Zealand AirNZ have just tightened up the regulations for shipping lithium ion batteries.
Fed Ex has just shipped a second hand Battery Converter from the US to New Zealand but it's stuck in Auckland because Air New Zealand refuse to ship lithium ion batteries without the exact specifications of the battery.
Blackmagic Staff, are you able to supply this information to IATE standards?
Apparently FedEx use their own aircraft to get parcels to Auckland but then Air NZ is used for all internal flights so if you live anywhere in New Zealand except Auckland and you want to overnight courier anything that includes a Lithium Ion battery this is going to impact on you.
