ATEM 1 M/E 4k Switcher Mixed Inputs

PostTue Apr 15, 2014 6:49 am

The old switcher required that you choose 1 input format, and all inputs needed to be the same format (i.e 1080i 59.94). Does the new ATEM 1 M/E 4k model allow mixed inputs? If so, will it convert a 1080i 25fps to a 1080i 59.94?

Hey,

no it will not convert your input signals. But I think that it can convert colour spaces now...

Hey, the new ATEM switchers are pickier then the TVS. If it's set to 59.94hz it will not work with 60hz while the TVS works with both. Stick with a common resolution in your purchasing.
