We use a ATEM 2 M/E Production Switcher with a ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Panel. Two great products!
But what's really annoying is that I can't set up the video-mode (720p, 1080i etc) direct on the panel. I mean, this is a very important setting, very often you have to switch that from one event to another. I also can't do other settings directly on the panel (which is also sad), but nothing would be so important than setting up the video mode.
I mean: You buy a control panel, which is !three times! the price of the video switcher itself but you can't do the basic setup on that. You always have to connect (and bring with you) a computer and start the software (update the software, download it etc) and then you can switch the settings.
Will there be any improvement on this issue? Half of the buttons on the ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Panel arn't used yet, so there should be enough potential…
