ATEM 2/ME Sync control

PostFri Nov 16, 2012 9:03 pm

Hi,

Is there a possibilty to control the genlock of your inputs? Or how can you control if they are going through the framestore or not?

Than the 2nd question, how many delay is there on the downconverted output if you work in HD?

And last but not least, is there an update coming to see your multiviewer also in 16:9 if you work in SD ?

Thx!

Hi Marteen,

As far as I know, multiviewer SD aspect will be corrected in 3.4, which is under QC testing.
The current version of the atem software control doesn't allow you to play around with the internal frame syncs, and the external sync signal. I'm also experiencing some problems, when I connect proper BB signal (not tri level sync), to Sony EX3 cameras, and hook them up to Atem 2ME (also with the same BB).It seems, that both devices are happy if they get Tri-level sync. (Running in HD 1080 50i, the BB is standard PAL BB)

Regards,
Balazs
