thanks in advance
EDIT: I just noticed the person actually posting this is a
Chris Adrian. When I first looked at this I noticed the name was Chris... so I ASSUMED it was the original poster. So... are you NOT the person who we have been trying to help (
Chris Ezeani)??? This highlights the issue when someone Hijacks another active thread and jumps in with their own question. Please ask your own question on another post and tell us what problems you have there. I'm not going to just regurgitate the manual if you have not tried it - and come back with some SPECIFIC questions/problems about what you have tried. .
SO... MY RESPONSE BELOW MAY BE IRRELEVANT due to the possible Hijacking of the original question by someone else. Sorry
Chris Ezeani... I'll leave my response below here until I find out what is really going on.

Wow... you did say you knew IT / Computers right? Sorry... I've just got to ask that again.
And...Just checking... did you ever run the ATEM Setup Utility? I've mentioned that multiple times... and you have not (until now) mentioned you didn't know what that is.
And... The instructions are in the ATEM Manual. Did you follow those?
Anyhow. Back to basics. I guess.
Connect the ATEM to the Windows PC via USB
Launch the ATEM Setup Utility (please don't tell me you don't know how to launch a program - if you don't know how to find and run that program you really do just need to step away from the computer until someone comes by who can... LOL!!)
Do a screen capture / snip of the resulting dialog box that shows what the current ATEM settings are. Not sure on Vista - but on Windows 7 it's the
Snipping tool. If you need help on how to capture a screen snip... PLEASE GOOGLE IT.
Then launch the
CMD prompt.
Usually you would do this by clicking the
Start icon and then typing
cmd into the search box.
Then type
ipconfig /all The take a screen snip of this. Make sure you can see the IP settings for the Ethernet adaptor - it may scroll off the screen.. so scroll it back in to view before taking the screen snip.
Liam i love the way you attack me innocently
.... yeah we are definitely two different chris on board... he can ask his own question on another topic like you stated...
. .. . .
back to this matter of mine that has turned super hot for me... i must admit i am hardly ever in this embarrassing situation but hey im only human and these things happen lol
This is what i got from my brothers windows computer i had to go far away to use. hope the findings are worth it. i will mail it to you now and also paste it here aswell...
