One example of a very cool third party product is called "Just Macros" (FREE). This allows for the use of the XKeys product line to control ATEMs. It's in early stages currently but I've been giving it a little bit of a try out and I love it so far.
Here is a link to a page with example videos of the setup and the program and other documentation.
http://www.vis-ranger.com/ATEM/I know from communications with the developer that the SDK is lacking some core very basic documentation which is making the development of these add-ons very cumbersome. Basic documentation which just describes
each function and the types and order of the parameters.
Joshua - is there some way such documentation could be provided? It doesn't sound like it should be difficult to get (in fact it likely already exists). These third party products are truly great add-ons to the capabilities provided by the ATEM line and I do hope BMD understands how valuable these third party developers are to the growth in use of the whole ATEM product line.
There are also other third party products in development and many of them have been discussed over on the
http://www.ATEMUser.com web site. For instance here is a link to the Youtube video channel for an Arduino based control system.
