Recording from ATEM

PostMon Nov 26, 2012 2:59 pm

We are recording video and sound and looking for an inexpensive (but good!) recording device. Our events are roughly 3-4 hours long. What do you recommend? blackmagic design hyperdeck studio ssd deck? Or shuffle? Please help. Thanks. Would we need anything else with those?

Not sure you would consider the studio or shuttle cheap when you factor in cost of SSDs. You would need around 320gb for a couple of hours recording at prores quality. I have a studio with 2x512gb and can highly recommend it anyway. Been ultra reliable for me... And for what it does I would still call it "inexpensive"
