Capture Problem in TVS 3.3 on Windows 7

PostTue Nov 27, 2012 2:22 am

I thought in previous versions of the TVS switcher if you set a filename in the Capture sectuion it would then record multiiple sequential files appending number to the end of the Set filename each time you hit the Record Button. In version 3.3 once you set the filename it always records over that file each time you hit record. Any way to fix this so you don't have to set a new name each time before you hit the Record Button? It also gives you no warning that it is overwriting an existing file it just erases it and replaces it each time you hit the record button. It also seems to crash if another program has the destination folder open for read/write access. Recorder starts but you can't stop it. (Stop button greys out). Only solution is to close the program and Tell it to loose the recording on exit.

Re: Filenaming issue: This is a known problem with recent firmware updates (search will find the original posts about this... ).

Hopefully it will be fixed in 3.4... as the way it works now is simply unacceptable.
