BM Micro Studio B4 Lens Control

PostFri Apr 24, 2015 2:41 pm

Looks like BM is expecting third parties to fill this need - has anyone heard of someone bringing these to market? We're in need of a few for our Fujinon lens for when the micro studio comes out.

Hi Adam

We are currently looking into it. We had a quite a lot of meetings at NAB where this was a feature request, so we decided to pursue it.

I can't say anything about a deadline yet, but i'll give an update on this forum, when we have a prototype to show.

That is good news, we are looking at possibly using these cameras on some pan tilt heads we got at auction with some SD B4 mount glass. We would probably go with the CCU controller you guys have created as well (if that works for the micro studio cameras as well which it seems it should).
