We are using ATEM TVS with BM Hyperdeck studio along with a VTR controller DNF300 connected trough rs422 to show slowmotion clips (replays) during live streamed sport events.
The problem we are having with this combination of these is that each time you start a new recording/(stop the ongoing recording) on the Hyperdeck, it's starts the new recording counter/timestamp from zero (00:00:00) instead of continuing on the previous on.
ex. First recording is 1h (01:00:00) the new recording starts (sends out) 00:00:00.
The problem apears when we mark certain timestamps on the fly on the DNF300 controller, to be able to easy go back and replay from a certain mark.
But when we are using the DNF300 to go back to a certain mark that we have made during the last recording lets say the mark is 00:05:00 of that recording.
When going to that specific mark it jumps to 00:05:00 of the total recorded time on the Hyperdeck and not to 00:05:00 of the last recording.
Is it possible to add a feature to the Hyperdeck so it won't make new a "chapter"/start over from zero, and instead just continuing on the previous timestamp for each new recording/stop that is made along the way (First recording is 1h (01:00:00) can the new recording start from 01:00:01 insted of 00:00:00 this would solve the problem we hare having.
Regards
Peter
