No input from Ultrastudio mini recorder.

Hi all. i use an ultrastudio mini recorder to capture hdmi from my Panasonic HDC-HS900.
All was great until around the start of February when i updated my mac to 10.10.2 and i lost video.
I then learnt that i could update the firmware on it - which i did to desktop video 10.4.
Instantly everything worked again. Great!
however i am back to receiving no video input. I think it happened around the time my computer updated to 10.10.3. ( i have now switched off automatic updates and started a time machine!)
i spoke to the support dept who got me to do a PRAM and SMC reset - also a fix disk permissions.
this did not work

has anyone else got these problems - or indeed anyone else with a working mini recorder with these settings? Any suggestions on a fix appreciated.

I have tried reinstalling the driver on the blackmagic box.

edit - i have just seen support email from blackmagic asking me to try downgrading to 10.3.7. ill try that next.

I downgraded to desktop video 10.3.7 and it worked. Looks like there is a problem with desktop video 10.4 and osx 10.10.3. Anyway - all working now thanks to the support guys.
