ATEM Television Studio Outputs

PostTue Oct 06, 2015 6:31 pm

Hi All,

We recently upgraded to HD and are using the ATEM Television Studio and the H.264 converter. While I need to capture the signal in HD, I need to output to some monitors that are only accepting an analog signal. I can't for the life of me find how to do this.

I have a cable that goes from BNC to S-Video. The input for the analog signal is S-Video. When I hook it up I do not get a signal. I read somewhere that the signal needs to be switched from HD to something else.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

It sounds like you would need a SDI->Analog Mini Converter to get the signal over properly. Here's a link to that products tech spec page for you to browse.

A BM SDI to Analog mini converter would work to get the SDI feed to analog. But if you are trying to get a HD SDI signal to a SD analog monitor, than you are going to need to downscale the signal to SD first, then convert it to analog.

The BM SDI to analog mini converter does converting and downscaling. I use it to convert 1080i50 to SD composite.
