Live streaming, DeckLink HD Extreme 3, SDI and FMLE

PostWed Nov 18, 2015 11:04 am

Hello!,

I own a Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3 working on a Windows 7 with the very last drivers 10.5.1.

I'm currently trying to live stream using Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2 (FMLE), using an SDI 1080i video source from a HDV camera.
For a reason i don't know, i can't get it to work on Adobe FMLE. Everything works fine on Blackmagic Media Express and even with other streaming software like OBS. Even if the video source is HDMI instead of SDI, same quality it works on Adobe FMLE but not when it is SDI.
I know i should probably ask on Adobe forums but the support there is really bad or inexistent and i guess the chances to find someone here who already tried this before me are higher...

Well, the problem comes as soon as i choose the right profile on my video settings under Adobe FMLE to match my video source, HD 1080i 60 - 8bit 4:2:2 YUV in my case, i get an error and nothing shows on the video input or output.

And this is the log from Adobe FMLE:

Code: Select all
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:22 : Selected video input device: Decklink Video Capture
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:22 : Selected audio input device: Decklink Audio Capture
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:22 : Profile Warnings : 1. Out of range output video size. One or more output video width and height are out of range. Taking default values of width and height.

Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:22 : Error connecting YV12 filter.
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:22 : Failed with error 80040217:SetupInputVideoPreview(pFilter, pguidCategory)
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:22 : Failed with error ffffff97:SetupVideoPreview(pFilterSource)
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:23 : Audio source does not support the selected sample rate and/or channels. Re-sampling the audio to desired setting.
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:23 : The selected audio device "Decklink Audio Capture" doesn't allow setting volume intensity. Disabling the volume slider control.
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:23 : Problem with video capture device. Please verify that the video capture device is working correctly and is not already in use.
Wed Nov 18 2015 11:49:23 : Profile Validation : Some of the tags in the profile have incorrect or no values. Flash Media Live Encoder will use default values for these tags. For details, please refer to encoding logs.

Apparently there is something wrong with the YV12 filter, don't know if this is related to Blackmagic drivers or is on Adobe side.

Any help on this matter would be really appreciated!.

Thanks!

Have you found a solution for this problem?

I'm having the same problem with Decklink 4K Extreme
