ATEM 1 M/E record module crashes

I have an ATEM 1 M/E plugged via usb 3.0 onto a Z77 motherboard with native usb3 controller. Trying to record from the ATEM using ATEM software controller or even Media Express will always crash the entire computer.

Does anyone else experience this issue? Using an ATEM TVS via usb 2.0 on the same computer (but plugged into a USB2 port) has no problem at all.

Sounds like the USB3.0 port on your computer is not supporting the uncompressed output from the 1ME. See the extensive array of post on the forum here which reference the USB3.0 issues.
