Battery converter HDMI toSDI - no lights ON

The converter has the latest firmware update. Seems to function OK.
One issue, though: the battery gauge LIGHTS do no LIGHT when only the battery is used...
Has my unit a defect?

Maybe a firmware failure, bacause all LEDs (in my SDI-analog and analog-SDI-mini-converters) are controlled by software....

OMG - It was NOT a backlit diagram ... but the wee tiny light besides the switcher. Problem solved.
