Hyperdeck Studio and SanDisk 240G-G25

PostSun Feb 10, 2013 7:00 am

Has anyone used a Hyperdeck Studio in ProRes mode with a SanDisk SDSSDX-240G-G25? The compatibility list shows that the 480GB version of this drive works with uncompressed, the 128GB version of the drive works with compressed... But the 240GB version isn't listed. Others on the forum have mentioned it works well with the Cinema Camera so I assume it will work.

Any real-world experience with the Hyperdeck?

Thanks,

Benjamin

I' amateur, so I don't record very often. I recorded two TV-Shows 1080i50 with a SDSSDX-240G-G25 without problems, but I tried only compressed ...

I did get 2 drives in and ran a few ProRes tests at 1080i. Each test completely filled both drives which were formatted as exFat and all tests were successful without any dropped frames. I'll keep hacking away at different resolutions and CODECs, but for now it looks like it you need this drive for use with ProRes it may work.

Thanks,
