Tally over SBUS

PostMon Jul 25, 2016 12:09 pm

Hi,

Last weekend we tried our new "Amimon CONNEX". The results were amazing. Now I am looking only to a system to send the tally signal over the available S-BUS interface. Do any of you have a solution?

Cheers

Raspberry pi's could be used to send tally information through the s.bus
I would imagine a pi3 at the control end (because it has a physical Ethernet port to connect to your network) and a pi zero at the remote end.

The pi3 would read the tally status from the atem directly and translate that to an s.bus channel output.
The pi zero would read the s.bus and modulate one of the gpio pins in response.
