I dont understand what the problem is. I have 2 camera's a Sony HVR-V1E and a Sony PMW EX1, and a datavideo DAC 9 and a blackmagic mini HDMI-SDI convertor (battery).
Combination HVR-V1 and black magic doesn't work, with the DAC-9 no problem, but on ten EX-1 the DAC doesn't work and the blackmagic works perfect. Both om 1080p (1080i same result) What is the difference in the convertor and Sony outputs? I really don' t have a clue. Our mixingconsole is a datavideo se-700
