Multiview monitors

PostThu Feb 21, 2013 8:23 pm

I am looking to replace the monitors we use for out multiview on our 2M/E switcher.

I'd like to do two 32-36inch displays that are fairly light weight. Besides having a good picture quality, the other thing I would really like to have is the ability to under-scan, or at least to have the multiview fit the display. Currently out two 40 inch Sonys clip the edges. If I hook up our 27 inch ASUS monitors, the multiview fits perfectly.

So, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Normally we use computer monitors (lately 27" from Samsung and LG) but we sometimes use a 42" Sony LCD TV as well.
Normally screens dedicated for TV use have overscan activated by default but I have so far never stumbled upon a modern TV that wont let you adjust this in the menu.
In the Sony menu, look for "Display Area" under "Screen settings".

I like the Samsung Public Display professional screens.
http://www.samsung.com/us/business/comm ... C/ZA-specs would be good for multiviewers.

if it was easy it wouldn't be called engineering
